A DAY OF GOLFING AND FUN WITH
PGA TOUR PROFESSIONAL CASEY MARTIN

VBF is thrilled to announce that PGA Tour Pro Casey Martin will be our celebrity guest at our annual fundraiser on Monday, July 12, 2004, at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club in Albany, New York. Casey has a vascular birthmark in his leg (Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome) and is the first pro golfer to win a court decision to be able to use a golf cart in a pro tournament.
This is VBF’s fourth annual event and we believe it will be our most successful. The day will be filled with golf events, tennis, food, a silent auction and mingling with families affected by a vascular birthmark. You can participate in a golf exhibition conducted by PGA Tour Pro Casey Martin, or join Casey in the golf scramble. How about tennis? We’ll be having a round-robin tennis tournament for those who like to play tennis. There will be a “Lunch with Casey” where Casey Martin will speak and there will be a dinner with silent auction (lots of great items to bid on). All proceeds will benefit VBF.
This year, VBF is also excited to announce that Assemblyman James Tedisco will be our Honorary Chairman and local news celebrity; Benita Zahn will be our Celebrity Host. Also, Dr. Milton Waner will be honored at this year’s event as Physician of the Year.
Whether you like to play golf or tennis, or if you just want to come and have lunch or dinner with us, or bid on our fabulous auction items, please make this day a special event for your entire family. This is the one time of the year when families affected by a vascular birthmark can come together and have a great time while helping VBF raise money and awareness.
